BreakingNewsOnAP: Actor Ron Silver has died in New York City after a two-year battle with esophageal cancer. Born July 2, 1946, he passed on March 15, 2009. Ron Silver is best known for his roles in Tunnel Vision (1976), Lovesick (1983), Garbo Talks (1984), Eat and Run (1986), Enemies: A Love Story (1989), Reversal of Fortune (1990),
Mr. Saturday Night (1992), Timecop (1994), and The West Wing(2001-2005).
In February 2008, Silver began hosting The Ron Silver Show on Sirius Satellite Radio, which focused on politics and public affairs. The show aired live at 9–11am ET on Indie Talk, Sirius 110.
